Shadowind aka Erin Cooper

Erin is a freelance artist working from her home state in northern Indiana with her abundance of cats. She gains a lot of inspiration from nature and the world around her. She loves creating illustrations & artworks of creatures both real, extinct, and imagined. Hikes in the woods, reading, gardening, and her own relationship with nature fuel her inspiration to create art. She has been drawing and painting since she could hold a pencil in hand and it has always been her passion.

She has worked with animals almost as long as she has been creating art, spending her teens summers volunteering at the local zoo and many years after working as a barn hand for a local horse farm. Although an introvert she loves befriending other creative and artistic people and supporting their work when she can. Graduated with honors with a BA in Computer arts in 2009 from University of St. Francis.
